Specialization
Special education resources for TK–2nd grade. IEP tools, phonics, math, and independent work tasks to make learning accessible and fun.
Who am I
Hi there, and welcome! I’m Jenna, an Education Specialist with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I currently teach TK–2nd grade. I’m passionate about making learning meaningful, fun, and most importantly—accessible—for all students.
In my classroom, every child shines in their own way. I spend a lot of my time adapting and modifying materials so my students can fully engage with the curriculum at their level. Over the years, I’ve discovered that what works best are resources that are hands-on, structured, and flexible—and that’s exactly what I create and share here.
On this blog, you’ll find:
Adapted resources (perfect for special education, IEP goals, and differentiation)
My favorite tools and teaching hacks that make life easier in the classroom
Creative, ready-to-use activities that support literacy, math, communication, and social skills
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me taking my dogs on adventures, spending time with my family, or brainstorming my next resource to share.
Whether you’re a special education teacher, general education teacher, homeschool parent, or paraprofessional, I hope you’ll find ideas here that make your work a little lighter and your students’ learning a lot brighter.
If you’re searching for “phonics activities for struggling readers,” “center ideas” or “independent work tasks,” —you’re in the right place.
